The way accounting should be
Understandable and jargon free, focused on you, as if we worked in-house but without the costs
We think that your accountant should be a key part of your team, a trusted adviser as well as someone who can minimise your tax bill and ensure you don’t get any unexpected bills from HMRC. Great communication is a important part of such an vital role and so we don’t use jargon or overly formal language. We want you to understand what we say and to feel comfortable asking any questions you might have (without thinking they might be silly questions).
Personal service and being easy to contact by phone or email are part of the way we ensure we develop a relationship that is comfortable and productive. We make things as easy as we can, for instance by setting up shared access folders so that you and we can see and work on the same documents. We often use cloud based systems, such as the Xero accounting system, so that everyone who needs it can have up to date information readily available, even when we’re not all working from the same office.
We want to take the stress out of accounting, so that you can focus on what you’re good at and what you want to be doing.
